I’m excited to announce the recent release of my new book Printmaking: How to Print Anything on Everything published by Dover Publications. The book features 12 projects that you can do at home, many with found objects around the house and outside. Print gift wrap, cards, totes, votives, t-shirts, seed packets, and fine art prints. Use photographic processes for screen printing and try out some monoprinting with gelatin plates. The projects start from easy and end with more challenging processes so all ages and abilities can get creative and have fun. It’s a great way to explore nontraditional and nontoxic printing methods right from home.
I hope parents will find it useful in trying to entertain and educate their kids at home; teachers trying to teach art remotely and crafters, makers and artists who are looking for something new to pass the time as we all stay at home. Once we are able to socialize again, I’ll be holding workshops based on processes and projects in the book. Look for book signings near and far in the upcoming year.
You can purchase a copy on Amazon, Barnes & Noble (Nook version too), and directly from me. I will be happy to sign if you buy direct or whenever I see you down the road. Enjoy!
